'Fret No More' Woodworking is a one man business. Richard’s fretwork involves using a scroll saw, table saw, drill press, a number of files, and a combination of different sanders, as well as other specialty fretwork tools to manifest these intricate designs you will find in all of our crafts, which will implement different types of wood, depending on your desired finished product. His fretwork involves cutting away small bits of wood from a design; the wood not cut away becomes the final piece. These intricate designs become ornamental trim on endless projects. All of his work is done by hand and NOT by using a laseror or CNC machine. Richard uses tung oil on his pieces to bring out the natural grains in the wood. Fretwork has been a hobby of Richards' for 30 years, and with encouragement from friends and family, Richard is now open for business.
